On Monday, November 13, 2017, the First Patient Forum took place at the premises of the Veleslavín Chateau.  It was a pilot meeting of Canadian Medical's management, doctors and its patients and supporters. The main point of the program was not only to introduce planned projects and news for 2018. In addition to that, MUDr. Barbara Taušová, the host and lead doctor of the clinic wished to open dialogue with patients and to break the perceived barrier between "us" and "them". Her short presentation reiterated numerous times the importance of patient feedback, dialogue and mutual inspiration.

The meeting was also attended by CM's leading doctors and specialists who were available at the informal part of the evening to answer any of the questions asked by the guests and patients present at the event.

The event also had unique refreshments in the spirit of St. Martin's tradition along with tastings of St. Martin's wines. The entire evening was accompanied by pleasant live music.
