A trained lactation consultant is now available to mothers at each of our clinics with a paediatrics practice (AFI, Apeiron, Pankrác House, The Park and Waltrovka). The team of nurses has completed a professional course organised by the Lactation League. Upon consultation with a paediatrician, the services of a lactation consultant can be used until the end of the baby’s first month following birth by any mother whose baby is receiving care within any of Canadian Medical’s membership programmes.

“The initial feedback is very positive. Clients are praising the possibility to get advice on breastfeeding,” says Lucie Sobotková, head nurse at Canadian Medical.
