Modern equipment and diagnostic methods

The clinics are equipped with modern instruments for comprehensive ENT care at a high professional level.

During examinations, our doctors use an ENT unit with a flexible endoscope and video streaming. This device allows doctors to examine the oral and nasal cavities and inside the ears with minimum fuss.  The endoscope image is transmitted to a monitor where the doctor and the patient can see the area being examined.

Other ENT equipment includes an otomicroscope that allows examination of the ear, the ear canal, the ear drum, as well as some of the middle ear, and ultrasound, which is used for diagnostics in the region of the head and throat. 

We also have instruments and rooms for minor surgical procedures, such as biopsies and removal of mucosal lesions in the mouth and throat.

Cooperation with specialists in related fields

Our ENT department at Canadian Medical works with other specialists, such as allergists, immunologists and endocrinologists, and in the case of more serious illnesses it provides follow-up care at university workplaces or at the ENT clinic of Professor Betka.
